My Approach to Therapy

Hello, I am a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker & Therapist providing psychological counselling in Bendigo, Castlemaine & Online.

I am an inclusive and non-judgemental practitioner whose focus is on creating a calm and safe therapy room. My approach is flexible and will adapt to your individual needs. I provide a therapeutic environment that allows for the time to deeply understand and explore your current challenges, creating a space that builds trust, and fosters openness and growth. Together we will develop a plan that incorporates your goals, addresses your symptoms and seeks to understand the underlying distress that has led to your current mental health struggles.

When it comes to mental health the most important thing is to find a therapist who ‘gets you.’ The relationship between you and your therapist matters and makes all the difference when it comes to your recovery journey. I will deliver evidence based therapy to best support you and we will collaborate to understand your unique needs.

Many people I work with identify as being ADHD, Autistic, Queer and culturally diverse, so I don’t work with a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy.
